July 5th New Moon Intention and Affirmation: An Invitation From Your Inner Child

A new moon is upon us, so I have a new tarot curated intention and affirmation for us to work with. This moon cycle I used the Tarot of the Golden Wheel, and we pulled the Eight of Swords, the Nine of Wheels, and the Six of Wheels.

Be sure to have a look at the cards to see what they awaken in you, let’s dive in!

Lately I’ve become acutely aware of how quickly things can change. Just when I’m feeling great, something happens and I’m suddenly thrust into complicated feelings of overwhelm, fear, and hopelessness.

Such is the way of things - we all know this. But that doesn’t make the ups and downs of life any easier to endure. We want the good things to last forever, and the bad things to never come, yet we know this just isn’t possible.

Intention: When we feel stuck and overwhelmed by limitations imposed by past and current circumstances, feelings of self-doubt, fear, anger, sadness, and overwhelm can take hold.

These emotions, often rooted in unhealed childhood wounds, can flood our awareness with challenging sensations.

But there’s hope.

Affirmation: I love my inner child and I am connected to the wisdom that resides in this part of who I am.

The New Moon Message: A Journey with Tarot Archetypes

Eight of Swords: This card reflects how unhealed wounds from your childhood can leave you feeling trapped and powerless. Limiting beliefs formed in the past can restrict your present.

Nine of Wheels: The Nine of Wheels suggests that even though you feel stuck due to both past and present experiences, inner child work offers the potential for progress and healing. Addressing these old wounds can pave the way for a brighter future.

Six of Wheels: Inner child work can lead to a sense of inner peace by healing the emotional wounds that contribute to feelings of instability.

The journey of inner child work isn’t always easy, but it can cultivate inner peace, self-compassion, and empowerment, making it well worth the effort.

By embarking on a journey of inner child work, we can begin to understand how past experiences shape our present. This allows us to acknowledge and heal wounds that fuel challenging emotions and limiting beliefs.

You didn’t think I’d leave you all on your own to do this deep work of nurturing the inner child did you? To support your process, I’ve created a journal called From Bud to Bloom: A Journey of Self Discover with my Inner Child. All you need to go on this journey is to download this FREE journal, create a safe place where you can be alone, grab your favorite pen, and begin! Be sure to let me know how it goes.
