June 6th New Moon Intention and Affirmation - Ditching the Lone Wolf Act

Hey Bloomers!

The new moon is here, and you know what that means. I have a new tarot curated intention and affirmation for us to work with.

I shuffled the Modern Witch Tarot deck, and guess what popped out? The Ten of Wands – again! We also pulled the Ace of Pentacles and the Three of Pentacles.

The message for this moon cycle is an important one, the cards are urging us to ditch the "lone wolf" act. Healthy interdependence, that essential balance between self-reliance and collaboration, is key to building a secure foundation and achieving our goals.

I remember a time when I was feeling completely swamped with both work and home projects. I was trying to do everything myself, but it was taking a toll. Then, my sister offered to help.

Sometimes it’s hard for me to ask for, and receive, help from others. But I quickly realized that together, we’d accomplish so much more than I ever could alone.

This new moon you are being reminded that you don’t have to go it alone.

Intention: Healthy interdependence is critical to living a fulfilling life.

It's about striking a balance between self-reliance and the ability to rely on others when needed.

Affirmation: I am open to receiving help from others.

Diving Deeper into This Moon Cycle’s Tarot Archetypes

  • Ten of Wands: This card often represents feeling burdened, overloaded, or stretched thin. You might be carrying a lot of responsibility or facing obstacles that feel overwhelming.

    • You might be so focused on what you’re doing, that you’re forgetting to see the bigger picture. In addition, there’s an aspect of holding on to outdated beliefs that limit your ability to see the potential ahead of you. When I look at this card, I also see hyper-independence, or a deep need to be self-sufficient.

  • Ace of Pentacles: This card brings new opportunities, resources, and a sense of stability. It signifies a fresh start with a focus on the material world, finances, and building something solid.

    • In the context of this reading, it can represent an unexpected opportunity or resource that arises just when you need it most. This "boon" could be anything from a new idea, a stroke of inspiration, or a chance encounter that helps you overcome the burdens of the Ten of Wands.

  • Three of Pentacles: This card represents collaboration, teamwork, and the satisfaction of a job well done. It suggests working with others to achieve a common goal.

    • The element of surprise can also connect to the Three of Pentacles. Sometimes, the most successful collaborations come from unexpected partnerships or by working with people who bring different skills to the table.

Remember, you are not alone in this journey. By acknowledging your need for support and embracing collaboration, you can overcome these challenges and build a more secure foundation for the future.
